Othello Station Community Advisory Team (OSCAT)
This group establishes and maintains contact with the developers and property owners of buildings planned around the Othello light rail station at MLK and Othello streets. They organize large neighborhood gatherings where developers present their plans and receive feedback from neighborhs. These meetings are held approximately every nine months.
Purpose
Its purpose is to assure the creation of a thriving pedestrian friendly town center around the station in accordance with the Othello Neighborhood Design Guidelines.
Regular Meetings:
OSCAT steering committee meets at the New Holly Gathering Hall living room on the second Monday of each month. Everyone who agrees with OSCAT's purpose is encouageed to attend and to join in its on going efforts to assure that the Othello light rail station area will be a thriving, successful transit oriented urban village of the future..
